Mr Jeremy Huddy is a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Colorectal Surgeon renowned for his expertise. He currently sees patients at Parkside Suite Frimley, Parkside Suite Heatherwood Hospital and Spire Clare Park Hospital With a passion for advancing medical knowledge and patient care, he has earned recognition for his academic achievements and contributions to the medical community.

After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Nottingham in 2006, Mr Huddy embarked on his journey to become a specialist in General Surgery with a particular interest in colorectal surgery. He displayed exceptional talent and commitment throughout his training, earning Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. This notable achievement marked the beginning of a successful career in surgery.

Mr Huddy has undertaken two specialist fellowships after completing his UK training. This included the Royal College of Surgeons Advanced Laparoscopic Colorectal Fellowship at Frimley Park Hospital and a one year Colorectal Fellowship in Toronto, Canada that had a particular focus on surgery for Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Huddy has undertaken extensive academic study. He pursued a PhD at Imperial College London, focusing his research efforts on “A multi-dimensional evidence toolkit for the evaluation of point-of-care diagnostic tests.” Undertaken within the NIHR Diagnostic Evidence Co-operative in London, his research endeavours have contributed valuable insights to the evaluation of diagnostic tools in the medical field. This academic pursuit reflects Mr Huddy’s dedication to advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Mr Huddy’s commitment to professional development and staying at the forefront of his field is further demonstrated by his membership in the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland. Being part of this esteemed organisation allows him to collaborate with other experts in colorectal surgery, exchange knowledge, and participate in advancements in the field.

Notably, Mr. Huddy’s passion for research continues beyond his PhD. He remains actively involved in the NIHR Diagnostic Evidence Co-operative team as an honorary clinical research fellow.
