Dean Willis | Senior Musculoskeletal and Elective Orthopaedics Physiotherapist | Parkside Suite Heatherwood Hospital

Dean Willis

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy | BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science | HCPC Registered
Senior Musculoskeletal and Elective Orthopaedics Physiotherapist

Dean graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2012 with a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science. He then spent four years working in commercial gyms as a personal trainer and sports massage therapist. During this time, his experience supporting clients recovering from injuries sparked a strong interest in musculoskeletal conditions and rehabilitation.

Motivated to deepen his expertise, Dean pursued a BSc in Physiotherapy at Brunel University London, where he graduated with first-class honours in 2020. Since then, he has gained five years of experience working as a physiotherapist within the NHS, across a variety of clinical settings.

For the past two years, Dean has been based at Heatherwood Hospital, specialising in elective orthopaedics. He finds this area of practice particularly rewarding, assisting patients with early post-operative mobilisation on the wards and helping them progress towards their rehabilitation goals. He continues their rehabilitation in the outpatient setting, offering personalised, holistic care with a compassionate and supportive approach.

Dean has a particular interest in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and takes pride in delivering clear, informative guidance on exercise and rehabilitation.
