Whether you are visiting for a consultation or staying with us for a procedure, we want your experience at Parkside Suite Heatherwood to be as seamless as possible. If you can’t find the question you need answering below, please contact us.
Appointments & Referrals
How do I book an appointment?
To see one of our specialist Consultants, you usually require a referral from your GP. Visit our Consultant directory to find the Consultant you’d like to talk to. You can then complete the contact form at the bottom of their profile to contact their secretary. For certain services, such as cosmetic consultations, a GP referral may not be essential – please contact us to check.
How long is the wait for a private appointment?
We pride ourselves on speed and flexibility. Most patients are offered an appointment within a few working days to suit your schedule.
Insurance & Payment
Do you accept my health insurance?
Yes, we work with all major UK and international health insurance providers, including Bupa, SimplyHealth, Vitality and Aviva. We recommend contacting your insurer for an authorisation code prior to treatment.
Can I pay for my own treatment?
Absolutely. We offer competitive treatment packages for self-funding patients, covering everything from your procedure to your aftercare. We accept all major credit/debit cards (excluding American Express) and bank transfers. We no longer accept cash or cheques.

Light refreshments are offered at set times, however should you require refreshments at any other time please ask a member of staff who will arrange this for you. Complimentary drinks are available for both patients and visitors throughout your stay.
Is there Wi-Fi and phone access?
Yes, we provide free Wi-Fi 24/7. The use of mobile phones is permitted throughout the suite and each room features a bedside telephone and TV.
What if I will need extra assistance?
Should you need extra assistance (for example if you have difficulties with mobility, sight, etc), you can inform our admin team prior to your admission so that we can ensure your needs are met. Each room is also equipped with a Nurse call handset, making it easy to call for assistance at any time of day or night.
Can I smoke during my stay?
