Parkside Heatherwood consists of an outpatients, minor procedure room and a dedicated private 10 bed unit.
The facilities are of the highest standard with views overlooking woodland, providing the perfect location to convalesce after your elective procedure. Inpatients rooms are single occupancy – light and with en-suites as standard.
Parkside Heatherwood specialises in all aspects of Orthopaedic and Ophthalmology elective procedures, and operations take place in clean air theatres.
Many private hospitals provide quality care, but have limited facilities. As a private unit within a leading NHS Foundation Trust you are assured of a comprehensive range of facilities on-site 24 hours a day. The hospital’s operating theatres are fully equipped to undertake a wide range of surgeries, including specialised orthopaedic procedures which are carried out in our clean-air theatre. Consultants provide private service to you alongside their work within the main hospital. Their own specialist teams support them with back-up from nurses and therapists. Your consultant is always available to see you in an emergency situation with all the hospital services on-site, it is very rare for patients be transferred for additional treatment.
Self funding and insured patients will receive fast access and consultant led treatment.
