Mr David Thomson

Mr. David Thomson is a Consultant Plastic Surgeon with a specialised focus on skin cancer surgery and hand surgery. He graduated from Oxford University in 2013 and completed his plastic surgery training in London and Australia. His education and training include fellowships in hand surgery and aesthetic surgery, as well as an overseas fellowship in Melbourne, Australia.

Mr. Thomson’s major NHS interest is skin cancer surgery, and he is an integral part of the local and specialist skin cancer multi-disciplinary teams. His practice covers all aspects of skin cancer assessment and surgery, with a focus on providing exceptional care for patients with skin cancer. In addition, Mr. Thomson is highly experienced in hand surgery, including the treatment of hand trauma, nerve compressions, Dupuytren’s disease, and soft tissue lumps and bumps of the hand. He also performs general plastic surgery, addressing conditions such as lumps, bumps, lipomas, and other soft tissue tumours.
