Mr Gareth Beynon is a Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynecology with more than 30 years of experience in the field. He received training in St. Bartholomew’s Hospital in London and completed his higher training in gynecological cancer at the most renowned Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

His interests cover a wide range of gynecological conditions including gynecological cancers and postmenopausal disorders. He is a highly experienced laparoscopic surgeon and one of the first surgeons in the UK to be recognized as acquiring all skills and qualifications necessary for the gynecological robotic surgery. His current research is focused on reducing risk for ovarian cancer and his findings have been nationally and internationally presented.

Mr Beynon was appointed as a Consultant at Frimley Park Hospital in 1998 and since 2009 he has been Clinical Director for Obstetrics and Gynecology. Moreover, he holds the position of lead Consultant for marketing across Frimley Health, ensuring good communication between specialists and local GPs, primarily be means of education. In 2004, he was made a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order by Queen Elizabeth.
