Mr Callum Clark is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals.
He was educated in Bristol, UK and studied medicine at Cambridge University. He trained in Orthopaedics in London, including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, where he developed an interest in Foot and Ankle Surgery. He spent a year on a travelling fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery and Sports injuries in Melbourne, Australia, and then returned to the UK. On his return he briefly worked again at Stanmore as a locum Consultant before taking up his current substantive Consultant post in 2004.
Callum has expertise in the full range of foot and ankle conditions. His surgical interests include arthritis and deformity correction, with a particular interest in complex bunion deformities and sports injuries. Wherever appropriate he uses arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques.
He has an active involvement in research and education. He has published and presented both nationally and internationally on aspects of Foot and Ankle Surgery and has been principle investigator in a number of multi-centre trials. He is an elected member of the Education Committee of the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BOFAS) and regularly lectures to surgeons, general practitioners, physiotherapists and podiatrists both locally and nationally. He and Mr Dega have been recognised Foot and Ankle surgical fellowship trainers since they co-founded their programme in 2007.
Callum also undertakes private practice in London a part of the Fortius group of orthopaedic surgeons. He holds the MFSEM(UK) qualification as a member of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine and is a member of BOFAS, the British Orthopaedic Association and the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
